And the Winner is…

Manning

Oh, my gosh, I love giving away stuff!

To launch our most recent book discussion, my friend (and co-facilitator), Jason Stasyszen and I are each giving away copies of the book that we will be discussing this time ‘round: Brennan Manning’s The Furious Longing of God. For more details about the discussion, check out last week’s post or join us back here next week for the first discussion. As always, you don’t have to read, to throw in your two (or ten) cents.

Today, I’m really, really excited to announce our winner. For the past week, I’ve been tracking the entries in the order they were received, and tonight, a random number generator selected our winner. But I’m so excited because the winner is someone whom I love dearly (like a play-cousin!) and who I have always wanted to participate in our discussion. (Will you consider it, please, my friend?)

Our winner is Vicky Warrick! (She’s also known as @vickydwarrick, if you’re a tweeter.)

Vicky, congratulations! Contact me to tell me how you would like to redeem your prize, and we will get that taken care of, so that you can join us for the discussion!

If you would like to see who won at Jason’s site, please drop by his place and check it out. He loves visitors and he’s very hospitable at his place. This time of year, my Alaskan friend may be serving hot chocolate or something…

We hope to see you all back here next week, when we will be discussing the foreword, intro, and the first chapter (which is called “genesis”). That sounds like a lot, but I promise they’re short!
