All night I’ve been thinking about your moving post. To me, that is a good sign that you have a strong message to share. I believe your writing is the little nudges of encouragement that we all need in our lives at times to just reassure us we are not alone in our feelings. I really enjoyed this post, Belle. I remember being at Kim’s house while Tim was in Japan, and us talking about your roomate with all the crazy cats LOL!!! But seriously, I have gone through this recently, in moving back to NC. I have just now, after 2 years, found where God wants us to be. It has been a desert for so long and in just two weeks, my extreme thirst has been quenched…I am very grateful that the Lord has shown us where to be. It has been a long, hard, lonely road…..

It doesn’t matter where we are—as long as we’re together, with Jesus in our hearts—we are the church…

that line really stands out to me with truth and acceptance.

i think that even when we are not together in body, that we are together in Spirit.

Thank you all for your comments today (including Anne L. Bundy and Jennifer D. Lee whose comments for some reason won’t post)! I thank the Lord that even though there were church people who hurt me, He also used church people to heal me. I hope that all of the rest of you who have been hurt have been blessed the same way. IF NOT, don’t despair! God has healing in store for you! He is the Great Physician of the Body of Christ, as well as of the physical body!
