Everybody Likes a Free Book!

Since the spring of 2010, my friend, Jason Stasyszen and I have been co-facilitating book discussions nearly every Wednesday. And usually, by the time we finish a book, we have a pretty good idea of what we want to do next. But this time was different. I was in the midst of planning my fifth move in two years. (This time I’m hanging pictures and staying for a while!) And Jason was in the midst of doing the husband-dad-ministry thing. And neither of us had a big bright idea for what we should do next. So, we took a break.

But guess what?

We’re back.

Over the next several weeks, we will be discussing Francis Chan’s book, Forgotten God.  (Thanks to our friend and study participant, TC, for the suggestion!!)

The way it works is this:

This week, we’re announcing the book and the subsequent book giveaway. (Everybody likes a free book!) Next week, we’ll announce the winners of the book (one here and one at Jason’s place). And the following week, we will begin discussing the introduction.

Now let me stress this point — you do not have to read the book to come join the discussion! Everybody has feelings on the issues and everybody’s feelings count!

However, if you want to win the book, you do have to enter! You comment below, you get one entry. Each time you tweet the giveaway, you get one entry (as long as you tag me in the tweet – @sarahmsalter). And each time you post about the giveaway on Facebook, you get three entries (as long as you let me know you’ve posted it)! Next Tuesday night, I’ll use random.org to choose a winner and will subsequently announce the winner. And it’s just that easy!
