Mad Church Disease – Chapter 9 – Emotional Health

We’ve made it to Chapter 9!

For those of you who don’t know, my friend Jason and I have been leading a series of book discussions each Wednesday on Anne Jackson’s fabulous and life-changing book, Mad Church Disease. If you haven’t read the book, don’t worry! There’s still a lot that you can get out of the discussion and we would love to have you join in!

Last week, we discussed how church/ministry burnout affects physical health. Well, now, it’s Jason’s turn and he gets to discuss how church/ministry burnout affects emotional health:

Ah, the realm of emotions—guys don’t have to worry about that, right? Well, I can’t speak for every guy, but I can speak for myself and being in ministry has many times left me an emotional wreck (this is putting it mildly)…
